Murals- a town tells its story..

I love photographing street art and graffiti and have been blown away by the number and quality of such art in cities such as Philadelphia. For this week's challenge though I take you to the small town of Katikati, bay of plenty, north island, New Zealand where they have depicted their history ALL OVER the town in murals. As you can see in the mural above, they have put names to many of the characters depicted- those who played a part in the towns development.

These are just a tiny selection and I hope you agree they are a super way to tell that story.
