Bench series…December

As 2015 draws to a close we have been given the freedom to choose any type of bench. I spent Christmas in Glasgow and despite the weather managed a walk through the botanical gardens where unsurprisingly no one was sitting on the benches! I'm not sure what the inscription means- I have clearly been in exile too long!!

Welcome to my blog! After a L O N G break from blogging during which Instagram (vannilla)took over my life, I am returning in a more varied format. Yes, I will bake and have been a Thermomix users from the days before it was cult-like. I'll share the best but I will also include that other hobby in my life, photography from my small island and beyond. If you like what you see, I'd love to hear from you! Anne

  1. What a lovely botanical gardens. And to have so many benches available to sit upon. What a delight to do so.
These images in Black And White I think capture the gardens very nicely.
    Stay dry! Happy New Year!

  2. I recognise those scenes! We live not far from there, though I’ve not seen that inscription and I’ve no idea what it’s about either. Maybe it was someone’s favourite saying? I hope you didn’t get washed away, it’s been awful weather – but we’re counting our blessings that we’re not suffering like those poor souls further south.
