Supermoons, supertides

There can't be many people who weren't aware of the Supermoon in the early hours of Monday morning (GMT) but unless you live by the sea I guess you less aware of the impact on tides. Here in Guernsey we had the highest tide in more than 20 years, and this is after several recent record breakers. High tides make for spectacular photographs but exceptionally low tides off us some great shots with different perspectives. When walking the dog on Choet (shoo-i) yesterday I got some sweet shots that would previously only have been possible from a boat.

Hope you enjoy!

Anne

I'll share the best but I will also include that other hobby in my life, photography from my small island and beyond. If you like what you see, I'd love to hear from you! Anne
