Transport museum-work of a RIBA Royal gold medal winner

Inside the zig zag ceiling
An effort at high key in the spirit of #rehab101

When I heard that Zaha Hadid had won the highest honour from the British architectural establishment I thought it would be an opportunity to post some old shots of her Riverside Musuem – better known as the transport museum- on the river Clyde. It is I'm sure you'll agree an eye catching building and features her love off curved glass. As a photographer, who doesn't love the reflections from curvy glass!

If any of my British readers heard this morning's interview of Hadid on BBC R4 today programme, I bet you didn't see that coming !!

Thanks for visiting.

Welcome to my blog! After a L O N G break from blogging during which Instagram (vannilla)took over my life, I am returning in a more varied format. Yes, I will bake and have been a Thermomix users from the days before it was cult-like. I'll share the best but I will also include that other hobby in my life, photography from my small island and beyond. If you like what you see, I'd love to hear from you! Anne
