R is for the open road

In keeping with my US south west theme for april’s challenge I searched through possible, towns, rivers, animals beginning with the letter R but just when I thought I’d treat the ornithologists to yet another post I realised one of the reasons I love the south west so much is because of the open road, and the countless miles of road which constantly surprise and enthral. Believe me, if you lived most of the year on 25sq miles of island you would love to take to the wide roads offering the chance to drive all day and all night….

So here is a short photographic journey, from the ‘mother’road- possibly one of the most iconic roads in the world, Route 66 – to the joys of the off road, road signs and the roadrunner ( just to keep the twitchers happy!)

I hope you approve of my choices.

Hello! I’m Anne and it’s a pleasure to have you look in on my little food blog. As a Thermomix user for more than 10 years and an advisor I can tell you the tips, tricks and greatness of this kitchen wonder. Most of the recipes have Thermomix instructions but please dive in - a sponge is a sponge, and pastry can be made traditionally (but why would you?) I am a keen amateur photographer too, so if you’d like to see what I’m up to please visit my other Instagram page @vannilla

  1. Yesterday I scheduled my last post! The travel ones were done a while ago but I’ve been working on my library blog ones as we went along. I will never do two blogs at once again!

  2. This one is at traffic lights at a Tjunction. The fist time I saw I I was glad the lights were on red.
I’ll be sorry when you get to Z ( but for my sake, and blogging twice a a day, I will jumping for joy!!)
