Scale – WP challenge

The San Diego Bay bridge, the Coronado, linking San Diego with Coronado Island is really impressive, at over 2 miles long. The sheer scale makes it tricky to properly capture what the eye sees. The setting sun helped a little.

The ‘big Buddha’ on Lantau Island, Hong Kong, is just that- BIG but it is difficult to get a perspective of scale in the second shot because you haven’t got the people in shot.

  9. Wonderful photos showing ‘scale’. Great way you captured the San Diego Bay Bridge. I’ve driven over it numerous times but have never seen it from this angle. Lovely 🙂
