Statues

Ailsa put Greyfriars Bobby in Edinburgh as her top of post shot for the travel theme challenge this week. I could honestly do a year of posts on wonderful statues from around the world. fear not, I won't , but Edinburgh, the university is my alma mater, is a good place to start. I was an economics undergraduate at Edinburgh but my hero Adam Smith would be too obvious, so just a few steps away, down the Royal Mile stands another 18th century philosopher – David Hume (1770-1778)

Hello! I’m Anne and it’s a pleasure to have you look in on my little food blog. As a Thermomix user for more than 10 years and an advisor I can tell you the tips, tricks and greatness of this kitchen wonder. Most of the recipes have Thermomix instructions but please dive in - a sponge is a sponge, and pastry can be made traditionally (but why would you?) I am a keen amateur photographer too, so if you’d like to see what I’m up to please visit my other Instagram page @vannilla
