The pier area of Auckland New Zealand buzzes with activity- a wonderful family orientated space sympathetically regenerated for eating, music and generally enjoying a Southern Hemisphere summer. It also satisfies last! week's photo challenge word SILVER.

Hello! I’m Anne and it’s a pleasure to have you look in on my little food blog. As a Thermomix user for more than 10 years and an advisor I can tell you the tips, tricks and greatness of this kitchen wonder. Most of the recipes have Thermomix instructions but please dive in - a sponge is a sponge, and pastry can be made traditionally (but why would you?) I am a keen amateur photographer too, so if you’d like to see what I’m up to please visit my other Instagram page @vannilla

  1. Glad you enjoyed your trip to NZ. You’re right – it is waaaay to far from Europe. Most of my family has gone back to the UK and I really miss them.

  2. Great photos. I love the Wynyard Quarter – having grown up in Auckland when that whole area was derelict, it’s lovely to see it revitalised and buzzing now.

i'd love to hear from you...
