Let there be light

My first shot for the wordpress Weekly Photo Challenge: Let There Be Light! | The Daily Post was taken in the stunning hilltop Provençal town St. Paul de Vence. With ancient uneven cobbled narrow walkways one really needs there to be light.

A candle on a cake had to a light source for this week's challenge since I am better known for my baking than my photography. What would a party be without cake and what would a birthday cake be without a candle?!
Lastly, my light source is the sun, where the daylight is coming through this narrow opening in the grotto at the boboli gardens, Florence

Hello! I’m Anne and it’s a pleasure to have you look in on my little food blog. As a Thermomix user for more than 10 years and an advisor I can tell you the tips, tricks and greatness of this kitchen wonder. Most of the recipes have Thermomix instructions but please dive in - a sponge is a sponge, and pastry can be made traditionally (but why would you?) I am a keen amateur photographer too, so if you’d like to see what I’m up to please visit my other Instagram page @vannilla
