Alderney

With so many miles travelled in the last few months and so little blogging- where to begin!? Answer: close to guernsey home- the island of Alderney, in the guernsey bailiwick

Am guessing this rusty old piece of agricultural equipment is there for good- great for the photographer.

The skies were simply stunning and this HUGE seagull was perfectly perched.

Yellow phone boxes- different!

This train is actually operating- someone forgot to cut the grass?

Not THE Swiss cottage…

Thousands of gannets make Les Etacs rock home

Baby Aston martin!!

Perhaps not…….

One way to get to Alderney -not for those without their sealegs!

And the other way- outside toilet only.

Alderney has recently applied for dark sky status and will probably achieve the sought after designation

Thanks for visiting!

Welcome to my blog! After a L O N G break from blogging during which Instagram (vannilla)took over my life, I am returning in a more varied format. Yes, I will bake and have been a Thermomix users from the days before it was cult-like. I'll share the best but I will also include that other hobby in my life, photography from my small island and beyond. If you like what you see, I'd love to hear from you! Anne

i'd love to hear from you...
