Weekly travel theme- flow

I guess metal is not the first material which comes to mind when you hear the word 'flow' but since I've just returned from a road trip to Madrid, the Marqués de Riscal, in Elciego, this building seemed the obvious choice.

In the heart of Rioja country what's not to like! Try to sample the wonderful cuisine even if you can't make it a stop over. The chef and restaurant were awarded a Michelin star in 2011- my personal opinion is that this was well earned.

  1. You have to go! It is stunning and the juxtaposition with the ancient town is fantastic. The weather in Europe so far this year has been awful so I thought about a different layer for the sky but after trying it I just decided to go with the truth!
