A word a week photo challenge -ORANGE

This week's photo challenge at a word in your ear is orange. First up is part of a wonderful floral display in Wynn's hotel in Las Vegas.

I have always judged The Bellagio to have premier ranking when talking flower displays but the Wynn has been giving it a serious run for its money lately. The umbrellas below also come from the Wynn. If you ever visit the Wynn you absolutely must stop and have a cocktail (or two) on the terrace of the umbrella bar.

The rest of my choices are from Guernsey in the Channel Islands and my 'home from home'(where I top up my vitamin D(!)), Arizona

Sark ferry after photo edit.
Tulips in my garden
Cactus in flower
Sausmarez manor gardens, guernsey
Mushrooms!!
Castle cornet, guernsey
More desert flowering plants

The red rocks of Sedona Arizona look more orange than red to me in this shot so they come in as my last entry. Sedona is one of the most beautiful places anywhere, not just in Arizona. I never tire of visiting. If you go do visit this church, great views from up there.

Thanks for visiting and getting this far.

Hello! I’m Anne and it’s a pleasure to have you look in on my little food blog. As a Thermomix user for more than 10 years and an advisor I can tell you the tips, tricks and greatness of this kitchen wonder. Most of the recipes have Thermomix instructions but please dive in - a sponge is a sponge, and pastry can be made traditionally (but why would you?) I am a keen amateur photographer too, so if you’d like to see what I’m up to please visit my other Instagram page @vannilla
